There are many fields available when creating items, but you cannot use all fields for all item/purchase option types. This document aims to clarify which fields are available for which item and purchase type. 

Types of Item and Purchase Option Summary

There are four types of item: 

1. Listing
2. Lot
3. Multi-Item
4. Webcast

There are six types of Purchase Option:

1. None
2. Buy Now
3. Make Offer
4. Transfer
5. Tender
6. Tender_PCT

There are eight fields available to be filled in for each item: 

1. Display Price
2. Unit of Measure
3. Purchase Price
4. Opening Bid
5. Bid Increment
6. Reserve Price
7. Quantity
8. Bidding Type (Per Lot/Per Item)

The table below lays out which fields are available to be filled in for each item type and purchase option. An 'X' in the table indicates that this field must be left blank. A '✓' indicates that this field can be filled in.
